High voltage LLC resonant controller chip
It is a dual ended controller designed specifically for resonant half bridge topology structures. Provide a 50% complementary duty cycle, with the high side switch and low side switch having the same time and a phase difference of 180 °. Adjust the output voltage by modulating the operating frequency. A fixed dead time ensures soft switching and high-frequency operation, an external oscillator can set the operating frequency of the converter, and an internal bootstrap diode is included. At startup, the switching frequency gradually decreases from its maximum value and reaches a steady-state value determined by the control circuit. IC can be forced to enter controlled burst mode operation under light load to keep the input power consumption of the converter to a minimum. The functions include effective low level disable input without latch, current hysteresis and undervoltage protection, current detection input, frequency automatic restart, switching and delayed shutdown, etc. The two-stage OCP can provide a complete overload and short circuit protection circuit, and the additional latch disable input (DIS) is easy to implement OTP or OVP. It provides an interface with the PFC controller and can be turned off in case of fault or operated during burst mode
